FSB has signed a multi-year agreement to provide technology for SZRT Slovakia's BetRing.sk sportsbook. This partnership marks SZRT Slovakia's first expansion beyond its home market, as it is backed by Hungary’s state lottery, Szerencsejáték Zrt (SZRT). The deal is seen by FSB as a chance to demonstrate its capability to supply a leading product to state lotteries interested in exploring new markets. Recently, Chris Graham was appointed to spearhead B2B global marketing for the company.

The legislative landscape for gambling in Hungary has recently shifted, with new igaming laws that aim to eliminate state-run monopolies. In Slovakia, the market opened to private operators in 2018, following the approval of a new gambling act by parliament. This act passed despite a veto from President Andreja Kiska.
The legislation allows for fixed odds betting licenses, caps the number of gaming machines at 15 per venue, and mandates that each venue can only host machines from one supplier. Additionally, gambling venues must be situated at least 200 meters away from schools or medical facilities.
