Andy Ventris, a rising talent in the event industry has been invited to join Clarion Gaming’s senior team as the Event Director for the flagship ICE London brand. Ventris reports to Clarion Gaming MD Stuart Hunter. He was the Director of London’s Book Fair, which attracted 20,000 visitors. Ventris also delivered the event in April 2022. He has a background in marketing and many years of experience managing international events for travel. This is an exciting time to join Clarion Gaming for the ICE London brand.
Hunter said that Andy has had a successful career working alongside stakeholders to develop and grow brands in a variety of sectors, and across five continents. The London Book Fair is an industry leader, just like ICE for gaming. Andy led the last event, which faced the same industry challenges as ICE.
Andy has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and had worked as a founder of a sports event business in the early years of his career. This culture also drives the gaming sector. As we welcome land-based suppliers to ICE, in February 2023, I’m delighted to welcome him back and work with all our stakeholders in delivering the most prestigious international event in person gaming has to offer.
Ventris stated that ICE London was a powerful brand and one every event professional aspires too, shortly after he had attended the first ICE ECA summer symposium held at Les Ambassadeurs Club. It’s a great honor to join the team and work with clients to provide first-class solutions. I also bring my events knowledge and insight to the dynamic and exciting space where ICE works.
“The ICE European Casino Association Summer Symposium provided a great opportunity for me to get to know many thought leaders in the industry within days of joining Clarion. I am looking forward to furthering my education. It is an exciting step forward in my career, and I’m enjoying the ride.
ExCeL London will host the 2023 edition of ICE London (7-9 February). The show’s physical dimensions are identical to the 2020 pre-pandemic edition. In fact, over 90% of available stand space had been reserved seven months before the opening.
