July is shaping up to be a significant month for the North American gaming sector, with SBC Americas providing weekly updates on key personnel changes in the U.S. gaming industry.

Dillon Borgida, a former executive at Underdog, has announced his new role as head of private client sales and services at Kalshi. After spending nearly three years at Underdog as vice president of VIP and player experience, Borgida expressed his enthusiasm for the new position on LinkedIn, stating, "I’ve never been this hype for an opportunity in my life. This company has a chance to be generational, and I’m excited to build in that environment." His extensive background in gaming includes stints at DraftKings and FanDuel, which will be beneficial as Kalshi operates in a space where trading and gambling increasingly intersect.

Lotto.com has further strengthened its team by hiring Amanda Coyle as the new vice president of human resources. Coyle began her role on Wednesday, bringing over ten years of HR leadership experience, most recently as a director of human services at Screenvision Media. Additionally, Lotto.com has officially announced Ruxandra Tereanu as its chief operating officer. Tereanu's appointment was initially revealed in May and her background includes experience at Flutter Entertainment under various brands.

In another significant shift, Entain is set to find a replacement for Simon Zinger, who is stepping down from his role as group general counsel and chief customer officer after serving in these positions since 2021. Zinger played a key role in the development of Entain’s ARC program, an AI-driven responsible gaming system. His previous experience spans 18 years at Dentsu and also includes positions at Baker McKenzie and Vivendi.

Galaxy Gaming has appointed Anand Singh as its new chief technology officer, where he will oversee the company’s technology strategy and engineering team. CEO Matt Reback expressed excitement about Singh's arrival, highlighting his technical leadership and industry expertise as crucial for supporting the company's growth.

Finally, handicapping service DubClub has appointed Ed Silva, a former DraftKings executive, as its CEO, prompting co-founder Lewis Burik to transition to president. Silva brings a decade of gaming experience from DraftKings, where he held roles such as VP of product and head of NBA sportsbook. In addition to his hiring, DubClub recently closed a funding round with participation from existing investors, although the specific terms of this funding have not been disclosed. Silva remarked on DubClub's potential for massive opportunities, reflecting confidence in the company's direction.

With these appointments, the gaming industry continues to evolve as companies seek leadership to drive innovation and adapt to changing market dynamics.
