The CPZ will include a mix of leading providers of responsible gambling solutions and tools, as well as non-profit organisations that have been given space. It has quickly become a highlight of the ICE floor. The 2023 CPZ will feature brands such as the Gambling Commission and Focal Research. Future Anthem, Department of Trust. Intuita Consulting. Rightlander. IGT. SG:Certified. W2. Crucial Compliance. LexisNexis. GamCare. YGAM. Gordon Moody. Gamstop. BetKnowmore. Responsible Gaming Council.
Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming’s Director of Industry Insight and Engagement and the person responsible for overseeing the development of the Consumer Protection Zone stated: “The CPZ, which was recognised by the industry at the recent Global Regulatory Awards where it won the Responsible Approach to Advertising/Marketing category is one of the many success stories to have originated at ICE.
The Gambling Commission’s Tim Miller created the CPZ. It has evolved from being launched at ICE London 2018, which featured eight of its pioneer exhibitors, to its present size and prominent position that is right next to ExCeL London.
The CPZ was able to raise PS146,000 in support of gambling charities during the three previous editions of ICE London. We are now looking to increase that impressive figure.
With the potential of an unprecedented edition of the world’s best b2b gaming exhibition, and with the support of industry we are aiming to bring the total up to PS200,000.
GamCare, the Responsible Gaming Council and Better Change were among the beneficiaries of the 2022 Fund. It was comprised of PS6,000 donations from IMG Arena, Kindred and Entain as well as PS20,000 from Entain and Videoslots. This figure was further enhanced by an Ambassadeurs Group contribution of PS10,000.
