Relax Gaming, an igaming content provider and aggregator has named Martin Stalros its new CEO.
Stalros becomes CEO after nearly 10 years of serving as Chief Operating Officer at Relax Gaming.
Simon Hammon is replaced by him. Hammon has been the CEO of Relax since 2022, after serving three years as Chief Product Officer.
Hammon was appointed CPO at Relax in 2018, after spending more than six successful years with NetEnt.
Hammon, who was CEO of Relax at the time, oversaw the development of the Money Train Series, which is considered one of the most popular series of games in the recent past.
Relax launched Dream Drop, a progressive jackpot, in 2022. Since its launch, 14 players have become millionaires.
Hammon is now staying with Relax through October 2024 in order to assist the transfer process.
Stalros, a gambling industry veteran with a wide range of experience in the gaming sector, held varying positions before joining Relax Relax in January 2015 Stalros held several other positions in the gambling industry before joining Relax in January 2015.
Stalros also spent over two years with Ladbrokes Egaming. Stalros worked here as both a poker customer development manager and a marketing executive.
Stalros stated that it was a great opportunity for him to become CEO, after he had seen the company’s growth from 30 people to 350 during his time as COO. I’m humbled. The strength of my team makes me more excited about this challenge.
Stalros to lead “ambitious growth” at Relax
Patrik Osteraker, chairman of Relax, also spoke about the appointment. Stalros is a business expert with extensive experience. Osteraker believes that Stalros can continue to lead Relax in its growth.
Osteraker stated that “Martin was involved in Relax since the early days, and has made a significant contribution to the success of our company.” As the company and its organisation continue to grow and mature, we believe that Martin is the perfect person to guide and support us in our growth plans.
Martin has the full backing of the board in implementing the strategy for Relax Gaming.
Hammon, the outgoing CEO of Relax added that Martin was the obvious choice for the company at this crucial time. After investing the last five years into Relax’s remarkable growth journey, I can say with confidence that I will cherish and believe the company and its team forever.
Martin will be able to steer Relax towards its goals with the help of his passion and pragmatic approach.

Relax makes US debut
This appointment is just a couple of months after Relax entered the US market. Relax obtained a waiver of vendor transactions for New Jersey at the end last year. In New Jersey, the provider has partnered with BetMGM.
The supplier now offers its slots in the US under the name RLX Gaming. The supplier’s slots selection is now available in the US under its new name RLX Gaming.
This move comes after a successful 2022 launch in Ontario (Canada). New Jersey is the company’s next milestone in North American expansion.
