MA Online Sports Betting Handle Exceeds $566m In First Full Month

In April, the first month that the newly-regulated Massachusetts market was fully operational, online sports betting in Massachusetts reached $566.2 million.

Massachusetts legalized online sports betting on 10 March. Six licensed operators are currently operating in the state, including Barstool Sportsbook (BetMGM), Caesars Sportsbook (DraftKings), FanDuel (DraftKings) and WynnBet.

The $566.2m in wagers by Massachusetts consumers in April was a continuation of the strong start for legal online gambling in Massachusetts following the $548.1m in the first three weeks after the regulation.
