Barcelona is the only team to have defeated Real Madrid Santiago Bernabeu within more than two years. Maybe Liverpool can beat them Wednesday? Reds can’t win just by winning. Instead, they need to win big.

They have already proven they are a formidable team. They decimated Manchester United 7-0 a few days ago.

Reigning Champions Take This Game Seriously

Although Los Blancos have a clear lead in aggregate, you can be certain they won’t play around on Wednesday. It’s highly likely that Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Los Blancos, will choose his best XI to face Liverpool.

He knows the Reds are tricky in big games. They did, in fact, knock out Real’s archrival Barcelona at the 2019 UCL. This was after a remarkable comeback from being 0-3 down.

Los Blancos will be all-in on Wednesday due to the fact that the match is played four days prior to the clash against Barcelona in La Liga. As a practice match for the domestic league, the UCL game could be used.

Reds will attack with all they have

Liverpool needs a big win Wednesday with at least three goals in Real Madrid’s net. Because a win of 3-0 would send the game into extra time, we say “at minimum”. They will need to score more if they concede a goal.

The brilliant performance they put in against Manchester United on March 5 has given them the confidence to pull it off. They defeated their EPL rivals 7 to 0. The goals were scored by four players: Cody Gakpo (Darwin Nunez), Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

This shows that the Reds have many offensive weapons. They have Diogo Jota, an offensive-minded midfielder, and four of those four.

Prediction: Real Madrid vs Liverpool

Liverpool will attack with ferociousness on Wednesday. Real Madrid will defend? They won’t, even though they are playing in front their fans. They’re going to fight back. We’re going to witness an entertaining game.

Both teams should score, although the visitors are likely to win the game. We don’t believe they can beat Real Madrid with enough points to win the contest.

Choose: Liverpool to Win & Over 3.5 Goals
