The Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee has announced that they will soon be opening a permanent sportsbook. This is part of a $100m renovation to the second level, which was first described in May last year.
The gaming facility will announce that construction of the new sports betting area, which will replace both the Northern Lights Theater & the Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill is expected to begin in the next few weeks.
The casino will have two locations open to guests throughout construction. There are 17 kiosks available at each location, which are open 24 hours a days, for placing bets.
One of these locations will be located near the site. Guests will find a bar and eight high-definition TVs, as well as one large LED screen for the biggest games of the day.
Kiosks can also be found on the second floor of the skywalk. Both locations will have odds boards and sports betting guests can also use the 20-minute designated parking spaces in the structure.
The construction of the sportsbook is taking place in the middle of the $100m renovation of the second level of the property. This work will be completed in stages during the summer and fall of 2023.
The venue previously announced that it will have more than 1,800 slots machine stations. This includes a new bar with 28 slot-top seats and a bar with 28 bars-top slots, which is a first for the venue. It also offers a high-limit room access to its most loyal guests, key partners, and an exclusive high limit room access.
“This is a transformative time at Potawatomi Hotel,” stated Dominic Ortiz CEO of Potawatomi Hotels and Casinos.
“We have been a leader in tribal gaming for more than 30 years. We’ll offer our guests more options, and welcome new visitors to the property.
