International Association of Gaming Advisors will host its 40th International Gaming Conference
Summit Tuesday June 20, 2023 through Thursday June 22, 2023, at Culloden Estate & Spa, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The Summit is a leading event that gathers leaders from every sector of gaming. It will offer operators, lenders, lawyers, banksers, regulators, and other advisors unparalleled opportunities to discuss and meet the most pressing issues in gaming.
Following each day’s conference sessions, social events will feature regional cuisine and warm Irish hospitality. IAGA’s Tuesday June 20 reception will be held in Belfast’s City Hall. It was opened 18 years ago by Queen Victoria, who granted Belfast its status as a city. Conference delegates can explore Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, enjoy live music and traditional Irish fare, and learn how to make the perfect Guinness pint.
The Summit’s closing ceremony will be held on Thursday June 22 at Hillsborough Castle. This is the official residence of the British Royal family in Northern Ireland. After a cocktail reception, guests will be able to explore the castle and then enjoy dinner in the royal garden. The Summit’s President’s Dinner is a unique opportunity for guests to mix in spaces that were enjoyed by His Majesty Charles and other members of the Royal Family.
Ellen Whittemore (IAGA President, Executive Vice President General Counsel, Secretary for Wynn Resorts) said, “It is a pleasure to host the 40th Annual International Gaming Summit” in Belfast. Belfast is a dynamic and growing Northern Ireland city with a rich cultural and historical heritage. Next year’s program, which will feature gaming topics of international importance and be created in partnership with several conference partners and members of the organization, will continue our longstanding tradition. We look forward to meeting our delegate in Belfast and introducing them to Northern Ireland, as well as engaging them in lively discussion about the key issues and possibilities facing global gaming.
Whittemore said, “I am also happy to announce that we will be offering several social events on June 19 that will give attendees the chance to tour Northern Ireland’s North Coast.” The optional events include a tournament at Port Stewart Golf Club’s Strand, private tastings and tours at Bushmills Distillery and bespoke tours to the Giant’s Causeway or Carrick-a-Rede Bridge. These options will be explained in detail shortly. We encourage all delegates to make the most of this opportunity to see the beautiful country.
