Betr was previously in operation in Ohio and is currently in preparation to launch in Massachusetts later in the week. It will now be permitted to operate in Virginia, thanks to the license issued by the Virginia Lottery .
Betr kicks the Front Door to Virginia
The move was welcomed by the company, which will allow them to become a part the Virginia regulator gambling landscape and help further establish betr’s influence in the North American area. Joey Levy was the founder and CEO at betr and was happy with the Virginia Lottery’s decision. He said that everyone was excited to see betr launched in another jurisdiction.
He said that the process with the regulator was seamless and that the entry was an important milestone. Betr has pledged to make the industry more competitive and offer players a new way to enjoy sports betting.
Betr has not offered a revenue-generating model. Although the company has accepted more than a million wagers, it has only generated revenue of just $106,000. The net revenue figures are quite depressing at $11,160, even after removing the promotional credit. Levy and the company are optimistic that betr will not fail to grow.
The company is expected to launch in Massachusetts in the near future, meaning that it will have access to more people who want to enjoy sports in fun and new ways. Betr has yet to give a date for when it will actually introduce its sports betting solution in Virginia. Betr has also entered into a partnership with Caesars Southern Indiana but has yet to receive an Indiana license.
