IBIA has a strong North American pivot
IBIA’s membership is part of IBIA’s efforts ensure that players have a safer, more fair and enjoyable betting experience. This move further strengthens IBIA’s global position as an authority in the field of monitoring.

BetPARX went through a thorough due diligence process to get to this point. This is required by the admissions process of the not-for profit association. IBIA members must also agree to a code, which requires them to use responsible gambling practices. IBIA is managed by operators for operators. It aims to protect its members from corruption.
The monitoring and alert system of IBIA is extremely specialized to combat corruption. It’s also an excellent tool to detect and report suspicious activity on the betting markets of its members. IBIA has also partnered with gambling and sports regulators to share information, strengthening its commitments.
IBIA keeps busy
IBIA’s strong network includes its relationships with data providers. Recently H2 Gambling Capital extended their data agreement. The partnership was deemed extremely successful and H2 is internationally recognized for its top-ranked database. The partnership dates back to 2021, when the two partners released the white paper “International Betting Integrity Association Study”.
These are the indicators that IBIA looks at when assessing its continued growth and establishment as a global voice in the world of betting. The not-for profit association released its Q4 integrity statistics document and the annual 2022 integrity statistics document at the beginning of February. It includes stats on suspicious betting alerts IBIA reported throughout the year.
According to data IBIA released more suspect betting was registered on 2022. There were 268 alerts in the report, which is a 14% increase over 2021. This is largely due to an increase in IBIA members over the last year. Europe contributed almost half of the annual alerts.
