Soft2Bet announced that the Swedish gambling regulator, Spelinspektionen issued a B2B license to the operator and platform provider.
Soft2Bet hailed the announcement as “outstanding” and noted that it will “help enhance its B2C-side” and ensure its Betinia YoyoCasino, CampoBet will “be better equipped” to serve the market.
The five-year license will be valid between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2028. It is also hailed for paving the path for the company to “be able to offer these licences to its existing and new partners who want to work on the Swedish market”.
B2B licensing was discussed in the beginning of this year. The Riksdag announced the official introduction of B2B licenses at the end November 2021.
David Yatom is Soft2Bet’s General Counsel. He said: “Soft2Bet’s focus on the Swedish Market has been for a long time and we are happy to have cemented our presence in both the B2B as well as B2C spheres. This is an incredible achievement for the company, which will be followed up by many more.”
In May 2022, a consultation period for B2B licenses will begin. After this, companies will be informed of the new requirements that apply to all online gaming software providers and game developers.
