EXCO Launches In-Game Streaming with AMP at 500 Casino

EXCO Game Studio has launched AMP in collaboration with 500 Casino, marking a first in the industry. This new offering is the debut product of EXCOVERSE, the company’s product ecosystem and activation layer. AMP introduces a live participation model that transforms a standard slot bonus into an experience that can be shared among players.

Players participating in EXCO’s games can now initiate live sessions through the AMP layer, becoming Streaming Players in the EXCOVERSE Streaming Lobby. This allows other players to tune in, view their gameplay live, and engage in discussions via Live Stream chat.

When a Streaming Player triggers a bonus, a countdown of 20 seconds begins, giving onlookers the chance to place their predictions on the final multiplier before the bonus round starts. Following the closure of bets, viewers can watch the bonus unfold in real-time, with all predictions resolved against the final outcome.

This innovation is not exclusive to professional streamers; it enables every eligible player to become a Streaming Player under applicable terms. The initial launch at 500 Casino includes nearly all EXCO titles, such as Ministry of Like, Apex Dregs, Robbin’ Goblins, and VEGASCALINE.

The partnership was established through collaborative sessions between the commercial and technical teams of both 500 Casino and EXCO prior to the release. These discussions centered on the potential of AMP, enhancing player experience, and the logistics of introducing a regulated live participation feature with a single partner initially. The choice of 500 Casino for this first rollout was strategic, given its direct integration with EXCO and aligned commitment to creator-driven content.

AMP exemplifies the innovative spirit of EXCO’s founder, Fredrik Elmqvist, who previously co-founded Yggdrasil Gaming. Elmqvist played a key role in developing promotional formats and games that became standards within the industry. AMP follows this tradition by converting traditional slot gameplay into an interactive live streaming event, where the excitement of bonuses is distinctly shared among all players.

The mechanics of EXCO's games are designed with clear visual cues and immersive auditory feedback, ensuring engagement not just for the player, but also for those watching the gameplay.

Aleksandrina Dimitrova, CCO at EXCO Game Studio, stated, "A slot bonus can be one of the most exciting moments in a casino session, but traditionally it belongs to one player and disappears in seconds. AMP gives that moment an audience. Together with 500 Casino, we have worked closely to explore how it can become a live, social and measurable experience for players. I’m excited to lead the commercial work behind a new way for players to experience casino."

Henrik Bergstorm, head of 500 Casino, commented, "We are always looking into new ways to make gameplay more social without losing the tension that makes a bonus compelling. AMP gives our audience a new live format to interact, and it matches our brand, concentrated around advanced gaming. It’s a revolutionary product, and we’re very excited!"

To celebrate this launch, 500 Casino will host a one-week Streamer tournament, utilizing AMP’s unique in-game leaderboard to rank Streaming Players based on the total winnings of viewers placing predictions on their streams. Participation in the tournament is restricted to eligible 500 Casino players engaging through AMP, in accordance with the tournament rules, territory regulations, age constraints, responsible gaming guidelines, and relevant terms and conditions.
