Hacksaw Group, a B2B technology platform and game developer, has introduced its new B2B Prediction Markets platform. This strategic move aims to allow operators to offer prediction market experiences using Hacksaw's technological infrastructure, distribution network, and operator ecosystem.
In conjunction with this launch, the Malta Gaming Authority has granted Hacksaw an extension of its existing B2B Critical Gaming Supply License, now covering Type 3 Gaming Services in addition to its current Type 1 Gaming Services authorization.
This development marks a significant step in Hacksaw's growth as a technology platform. It aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its offerings into related areas that can leverage its established technology, commercial relationships, and market presence.
The platform has been designed to meet increasing demand in the market and is built on Hacksaw's existing technology and experienced development team without adding significant costs. Unlike consumer-oriented prediction market platforms that seek to directly engage users, Hacksaw aims to provide the foundational technology and infrastructure that allows operators to deliver peer-to-peer prediction market experiences within their own environments.
Ana Vrabic Verdir, Group CEO of Hacksaw Group, commented, "Prediction markets represent a compelling new opportunity at the intersection of technology, entertainment and market participation. We believe our existing platform, distribution capabilities, and operator relationships position us exceptionally well to help businesses participate in this category. This launch reflects our strategy of extending Hacksaw’s technology ecosystem into adjacent verticals where we can create long-term value for customers, partners, and shareholders while further strengthening our role within the broader online gaming landscape."
For operators, this platform offers a quicker entry into the realm of peer-to-peer prediction markets by alleviating the need to build and maintain the necessary technology independently, while still allowing them to utilize their established customer relationships and player ecosystems.
Marcus Cordes, Operational CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, remarked, "We have created a solution that enables operators to access prediction market capabilities efficiently and at scale. Because we already work closely with operators across multiple jurisdictions, we believe we can provide a streamlined path to market while leveraging the technology, integrations, and commercial infrastructure that we have spent years developing. We see significant potential to help operators participate in this growing category through a solution designed specifically for their needs."
