Hacksaw Group has announced the launch of its new B2B Prediction Markets platform, marking a strategic move to allow operators to integrate prediction market experiences using Hacksaw's technological expertise and extensive distribution network. This initiative comes alongside the Malta Gaming Authority's recent approval to expand Hacksaw’s existing B2B Critical Gaming Supply License. Now, the license covers both Type 3 Gaming Services and the previously authorized Type 1 Gaming Services.
This launch signifies a key development in Hacksaw's growth as a tech provider, reflecting its strategy to diversify into related sectors that can utilize its established technology and market connections. The newly developed platform addresses the rising demand for prediction markets, drawing on Hacksaw’s technological capabilities and development team's expertise.
Rather than targeting consumers directly, Hacksaw's approach focuses on offering the necessary technology and infrastructure that allows operators to create peer-to-peer prediction markets within their ecosystems.
Ana Vrabic Verdir, Hacksaw Group's CEO, stated, "Prediction markets represent a compelling new opportunity at the intersection of technology, entertainment and market participation. We believe our existing platform, distribution capabilities and operator relationships position us exceptionally well to help businesses participate in this category. This launch reflects our strategy of extending Hacksaw’s technology ecosystem into adjacent verticals where we believe we can create long-term value for customers, partners and shareholders while further strengthening our role within the broader online gaming landscape."
For operators, this platform simplifies entry into peer-to-peer prediction markets, eliminating the need for independent technology development while enabling them to utilize their existing customer relationships.
Marcus Cordes, Operational CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, noted, "We have created a solution that enables operators to access prediction market capabilities efficiently and at scale. Because we already work closely with operators across multiple jurisdictions, we believe we can provide a streamlined path to market while leveraging the technology, integrations and commercial infrastructure that we have spent years developing. We see significant potential to help operators participate in this growing category through a solution designed specifically for their needs.
