Bet365, a prominent player traditionally focused on sports betting, has expanded its interest into iGaming by monitoring online slot performance in crucial U.S. markets. Each month, the British company publishes its Gaming Insights and Performance report, providing comprehensive data from over 20 iCasino markets worldwide. Among its analysis for the U.S., the report highlights three key states: Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Using an algorithm that analyzes various metrics like revenue, stakes, sessions, and player engagement, bet365 reviews approximately 7,500 online slot titles available on its casino platform.
In Michigan, Playtech’s game Oink Oink Oink: Pharaohs emerged as a standout performer in July, securing the top position as a new release in the state. It replaced ReelPlay's Hypernova Megaways, which dropped to second. Additionally, Boom Entertainment's Lucky Money Dinos entered at third place. Among existing titles, NetEnt’s Divine Fortune Gold and IGT’s Fortune Coin each climbed 23 spots, landing at fifth and sixth, while IGT’s Cash Eruption held the fourth position.
New Jersey experienced a notable shift as well, where Cash Eruption ranked third, slipping one spot. The top two slots in New Jersey were claimed by Design Works Gaming’s Piggy Payouts Bank Buster LuckyTap and Light & Wonder’s 88 Fortunes, ascending from fourth to first and from seventh to second, respectively. The month featured the FIFA World Cup, and a significant highlight was Soccer Showdown, which surged 23 places to rank fourth.
In Pennsylvania, Cash Eruption maintained its success with the High Stakes edition rising to first place, while the original version secured third. In between was another new title from IGT, Double Top Dollar. AGS’s Capital Gains climbed four places to fourth, and Design Works Gaming’s Big Kick LuckyTap, focused on football, completed the top five.
Beyond these U.S. markets, the report also spans international gaming data, covering major markets in Europe, Brazil, and Canada’s regulated iGaming provinces of Ontario and Alberta. Notably, in Alberta, IGT's Cleopatra Keno was reported as the leading slot in the early weeks following the province's launch on July 13 as Canada’s second regulated online gambling jurisdiction.
