Play971, recognized as the first licensed online gambling platform in the United Arab Emirates, has established content partnerships with two prominent global gaming companies: IGT and Endorphina. The announcements regarding these partnerships were made public on July 21, enhancing Play971's offerings with IGT’s acclaimed PlayDigital catalog and a selection of themed slot games from Endorphina.
Philippa Bowland, the commercial gaming director at Play971, emphasized the company's dedication to responsible gaming practices and high-quality entertainment through these new collaborations. "We are proud to welcome IGT and Endorphina — two globally respected brands — as we continue raising the standard for gaming," she noted.
The collaboration with IGT brings legacy titles such as Blackjack, Cleopatra, and Cats to the platform. Gil Rotem, CEO of Digital at IGT, remarked that the partnership is based on "innovation and integrity" and aims to support the ongoing growth of the UAE market.
Lohith Chittajallu, Endorphina’s Senior Manager Partnerships & Expansion, shared his enthusiasm for entering a market that is still in its early development stages. "We believe this partnership opens the door to new opportunities, and we can’t wait for players to experience the entertainment and quality that Endorphina is known for," he said.
Endorphina secured its gaming-related vendor license in May, allowing it to provide gaming products and services throughout the Emirates while complying with the regulations set by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority.
Having launched as the UAE's first licensed gambling operator late last year, Play971 has quickly expanded its content library and business activities. This includes recruiting former Australian cricketer Brett Lee as a brand ambassador and launching its football betting services for customers based in the UAE last month. Play971 obtained its license from the GCGRA, an authority established in 2023 to manage the regulatory framework for gambling within the Emirates.
