ChatBet, a platform specializing in conversational betting and transactional messaging, has teamed up with iSolutions to enhance the access to AI-driven betting experiences across Africa and other emerging regions.
This collaboration enables operators on the iSolutions platform to incorporate ChatBet's conversational betting technology. As a result, players can explore betting markets, create their betting slips, and complete their betting activities via WhatsApp, Telegram, and chat widgets on web or app interfaces.
The partnership aims to connect operators with players using familiar communication channels, thereby mitigating the complexities often associated with traditional sportsbook applications and mobile websites.
Africa presents a unique opportunity for conversational betting, as messaging services play a crucial role in consumer interactions, transactions, and brand engagement. By integrating iSolutions' platform infrastructure and regional operator connections with ChatBet's conversational technology, both companies intend to enhance the accessibility and relevance of betting for local audiences.
Josh Swerdlow, founder and CEO of ChatBet, remarked, "iSolutions provides us with a robust platform for growth in Africa and other rapidly expanding markets. In numerous regions, messaging has become the primary digital interface. Our goal is not to direct players to another app but to enable them to discover and engage through familiar conversations. This partnership simplifies the addition of conversational betting as a new channel for acquisition, engagement, and transactions for iSolutions operators."
Filippo Ceci, co-founder and director of iSolutions, stated, "At iSolutions, we have always aimed to incorporate the finest products on the market, guided by our clients' preferences and our consultancy. Our operators dictate their business strategies, and our job is to empower those choices with the appropriate technology and the right partners. The collaboration with ChatBet is a reflection of this philosophy. Conversational betting aligns perfectly with the demands of Africa and similar mobile-first markets, and we are excited to deliver this technology to our operator network."
ChatBet and iSolutions are currently collaborating on an initial operator launch, with plans for further rollouts across the platform’s network.
ChatBet is on a mission to transform digital betting. In April, Bola Group introduced ChatBet, claiming it to be Africa's first conversational betting platform. Bola Group CEO Hilton Hasson highlighted the launch as a key milestone for both the company and the African betting sector as a whole. "Our teams have invested six months developing something that hasn’t existed in Africa before," Hasson explained. "WhatsApp is accessible to everyone, traditional platforms often present data cost barriers, and digital sports betting is still greatly underserved in this market, and ChatBet addresses all three issues."
The initial rollout of ChatBet occurred in Zambia, with plans for future expansion already set for Zimbabwe and Malawi.
