ChatBet Partners with iSolutions for Conversational Betting in Africa

ChatBet has announced a partnership with iSolutions to enhance access to AI-driven betting experiences throughout Africa and emerging markets. This collaboration will enable operators utilizing the iSolutions platform to implement ChatBet’s conversational betting technology. Players will be able to explore markets, create bet slips, and finalize betting activities using messaging applications like WhatsApp, Telegram, as well as chat features on web and app platforms.

The partnership aims to connect operators with players via their preferred communication channels, minimizing the challenges associated with traditional sportsbook applications and mobile websites.

In Africa, the potential for conversational betting is significant, given the prominence of messaging platforms in consumer interactions, transactions, and brand engagement. By merging iSolutions’ regional expertise and platform infrastructure with ChatBet’s innovative conversational technology, both companies intend to make betting more accessible, user-friendly, and relevant to local audiences.

Josh Swerdlow, founder and CEO of ChatBet, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating, “iSolutions gives us a strong platform partner for expanding across Africa and other high-growth markets. In many of these markets, messaging is already the primary digital interface. The opportunity is not to force players into another app, but to allow them to discover, engage and transact through conversations they already understand. This partnership will make it significantly easier for iSolutions operators to add conversational betting as a new acquisition, engagement and transactional channel.”

Filippo Ceci, co-founder and director of iSolutions, affirmed their commitment to integrating the best available products based on their clients’ preferences. He stated, “Our operators drive their own business strategies. Our role is to support those choices with the right technology and the right partners. The partnership with ChatBet reflects exactly that approach. Conversational betting is particularly well suited to Africa and other mobile-first markets, and we are pleased to make the technology available across our operator network.”

ChatBet and iSolutions are initiating their collaboration with an initial deployment for an operator, with more launches anticipated across the iSolutions network.

In April, Bola Group unveiled ChatBet as the first conversational betting platform in Africa. Bola Group CEO Hilton Hasson described this launch as a pivotal development for both the company and the African betting landscape. “Our teams have spent six months working on something that has never existed in Africa before,” Hasson stated. “WhatsApp is already in everyone’s pocket, data costs make traditional platforms a barrier and sports betting in this market is still massively underserved digitally, and ChatBet solves all three.”

ChatBet commenced its services in Zambia, with plans for future expansions already targeting Zimbabwe and Malawi.
