ChatBet Partners with iSolutions for AI Betting in Africa

ChatBet, a conversational betting and transactional messaging platform, has forged a partnership with iSolutions to enhance access to AI-powered betting experiences throughout Africa and other emerging markets.

Through this collaboration, operators utilizing the iSolutions platform can incorporate ChatBet’s technology, allowing users to explore betting markets, create bet slips, and complete betting processes via WhatsApp, Telegram, and web or app-based chat interfaces.

The aim is to connect operators with players through channels they already frequent, while minimizing the complexities often associated with conventional sportsbook apps and mobile sites.

Africa presents a significant opportunity for conversational betting, as messaging platforms are already integral to how consumers communicate, perform transactions, and engage with brands.

By integrating iSolutions’ platform capabilities and regional operator relationships with ChatBet’s conversational technology, both companies intend to make betting more accessible, intuitive, and tailored to local needs.

Josh Swerdlow, founder and CEO of ChatBet, remarked, “iSolutions gives us a strong platform partner for expanding across Africa and other high-growth markets. In many of these markets, messaging is already the primary digital interface. The opportunity is not to force players into another app but to allow them to discover, engage, and transact through conversations they already understand. This partnership will make it significantly easier for iSolutions operators to add conversational betting as a new acquisition, engagement, and transactional channel.”

Filippo Ceci, co-founder and director of iSolutions, affirmed, “Our policy at iSolutions has always been to integrate the best products available on the market based on our clients’ choices, supported by our consultancy. Our operators drive their own business strategies, and our role is to support those choices with the right technology and the right partners. The partnership with ChatBet reflects exactly that approach. Conversational betting is particularly well suited to Africa and other mobile-first markets, and we are pleased to make the technology available across our operator network.”

The two companies have already initiated their collaboration with an initial operator deployment, and additional launches are anticipated across the platform’s network.

ChatBet aims to revolutionize digital betting, having been launched by Bola Group in April as the first platform of its kind in Africa. Bola Group CEO Hilton Hasson hailed the launch as a significant achievement for the company and the African betting landscape.

“Our teams have spent six months working on something that has never existed in Africa before,” Hasson stated. “WhatsApp is already in everyone’s pocket; data costs present a barrier for traditional platforms, and the sports betting market is still largely underserved digitally. ChatBet addresses all three issues.”

Originally launched in Zambia, ChatBet plans to expand into further markets, with Zimbabwe and Malawi already on its radar for future launches.
