Danske Spil reported an increase in revenue and net profits year over year during 2022, despite having to deal with an “uncertain” background.
Nikolas LyhneKnudsen, chief executive of Danske Spil, reflected on the company’s full-year performance and cited Russia’s invasion in Ukraine, rising inflation, interest rates, and the energy crisis as factors that had an impact on the operator in 2022.
The group managed to overcome these difficulties and achieve record growth. Lyhne-Knudsen said he was satisfied with the performance and that the business had met its expectations.
Lyhne-Knudsen stated that it was satisfying, particularly because we can simultaneously state that our efforts to combat gambling addiction are effective and that the number customers in Danske Spil at high risk of developing gambling addiction has been steadily decreasing.”
Danske Spil believes that responsible game selection, healthy gambling habits and happy customers are all essential to a successful and healthy business.
