SPiCE Southeast Asia 2026 is scheduled for August 5 to 7 at The Landmark Bangkok in Thailand, gathering regulatory experts, operators, technology providers, and investors from the region. As regulation, technology, and consumer expectations evolve simultaneously, this event provides a crucial opportunity to assess the industry's current standing.

With just two weeks until the event, the agenda features three days filled with discussions on policy, strategy, and innovation. Activities begin with celebrations on opening night and lead into vital conversations about sustainable growth in the region.

On the first day, participants will enjoy the SP‘iCE’ Breaker Welcoming Evening, followed by the SPiCE Southeast Asia Eventus Awards Ceremony. This ceremony acknowledges the year's most outstanding contributions and is co-sponsored by K36 and Bally's Colombo.

Day Two focuses on operational challenges within a regulated market, with sessions addressing active regulatory frameworks, creating resilient operational infrastructures, and efforts to consolidate KYC, AML, and fraud measures. Evan Spytma, CEO of C+, will begin the event with a keynote titled ‘The Direction of Southeast Asia’s Entertainment Economy.’ He remarked on the region's transformation from an emerging market to a significant player in the global entertainment sector, addressing the evolving landscape of regulation and technology while highlighting the importance of decision-making that shapes the industry’s future.

Nikon J. Gormley, a Board Member of the Bangkok Startup Association, emphasized the significance of the human element in consumer protection during the ‘Responsible Participation and Consumer Protection’ panel. He stated, “In the rush to optimize and scale, the industry often overlooks the most critical variable: the human element,” advocating for trust and safety in consumer relationships through authentic strategies.

Priya Ahlawat, Founder of Jumping Play Studio and Asia Ambassador for Eventus International, is set to join the ‘Visibility, Trust and Market Engagement’ discussion. She noted that strong brands are established through reliability and genuine engagement with the industry, sharing actionable insights for fostering trust and creating enduring opportunities.
