At the upcoming AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026, set for November 23 to 25 in Mexico, Nordic Partners Gaming will host an exciting Counter-Strike 2 challenge in the Esports Zone. This event will allow attendees to play against professional CS2 player Lukas “FreeZe” Hegmann, who has extensive experience in the Counter-Strike scene.
Hegmann has a remarkable background, having played nearly 8,000 matches and maintaining a career win rate of 57% while competing for notable teams such as BIG, BIG Academy, and ALTERNATE aTTaX. His presence at the conference will enable participants to step into an immersive gaming environment, where they can test their skills against a seasoned competitor.
Håvard Lehn, Co-Founder and CEO of Nordic.Partners Group, stated, "We want people to experience esports, not just hear about it. Bringing FreeZe to AffPapa Cancun gives attendees a chance to get behind the screen, challenge a professional player, and see the competitive side of Counter-Strike for themselves. It’s also a great way to bring the esports and iGaming communities closer together."
The challenge is designed to offer a hands-on esports experience at the conference. Participants will have the opportunity to directly confront FreeZe, engage in competitive gameplay, and interact with Nordic Partners Gaming in the Esports Zone. Additionally, NPG will host a jersey giveaway, allowing attendees who participate in the challenge a chance to win an official Nordic Partners Gaming jersey.
Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO and Founder of AffPapa, remarked, "We want to make AffPapa Conference Cancun an experience where people can do more than just attend panels and meetings. Having NPG bring competitive Counter-Strike into the event gives attendees a chance to get involved and connect with the esports community in a different way. It’s a great addition to the conference, and we’re looking forward to seeing attendees take part."
Nordic Partners Gaming's presence at AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026 highlights their recent ventures into competitive esports, promising an exciting integration of gaming into the event context.
