Every Thursday, SBC Americas provides updates on notable leadership changes within the U.S. gaming sector, covering land-based gaming, online gambling, and prediction markets. This week highlights shifts at FanDuel, GeoComply, IGT, and Sportradar, among others.
At FanDuel, the company continues to experience significant changes, with Andrew Moore, the general manager of racing, announcing his departure from Flutter Entertainment after 19 years. Moore shared on LinkedIn that he would remain in the U.S. to offer consulting services focused on the Racing, Pari-mutuel, Gaming, and Sports Betting sectors. His exit follows Flutter's March announcement to shut down FanDuel TV, which was expected to result in around 100 job losses. Former FanDuel CEO Amy Howe stated that continuing FanDuel TV's racing operations was not aligned with the company's long-term strategy. Moore's departure is part of a broader trend as both Howe and Flutter chief Peter Jackson have recently stepped down, and other executives have left the company amid two rounds of layoffs affecting FanDuel and PokerStars.
GeoComply has promoted Steven Vo from Senior Vice President of Engineering to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Vo, an original hire since 2012, was involved in developing the first geolocation compliance solution for New Jersey's regulated iGaming market. After working for Amazon and Uber, he returned to GeoComply in 2021. The company aims to leverage Vo's experience to enhance its expansion into new verticals, especially regarding AI.
International Game Technology (IGT) has appointed Adam Chibib as its new CFO, effective November 1, 2026, succeeding Fabio Celadon, who will remain with IGT as an advisor until December 31 after stepping down on October 1. Chibib joins with significant financial and operational experience, notably from his time as CFO at Raptor Technologies and Multimedia Games, where he played a role in the company's soaring revenue and market cap increase. IGT CEO Hector Fernandez emphasized the importance of Chibib’s expertise as the company undergoes transformation.
Polymarket has appointed Rob Eskridge as its head of U.S. government relations to bolster its presence in sports and prediction markets. Eskridge, a former Ohio assistant attorney general with extensive federal experience, will enhance Polymarket’s engagement with policymakers amid a shifting policy landscape in the industry. Recent leadership changes at Polymarket also include Warren Jenson as its first CFO and Travis VanderZanden as chief growth officer.
Sportradar continues to establish itself in the prediction market space by naming Daniel Zurakov as its first-ever VP of Prediction Markets. Formerly VP of Markets at ProphetX, Zurakov will focus on developing Sportradar's event contracts business, which will provide official sports data to prediction market platforms. This announcement follows Sportradar's expanded deal with Polymarket, involving over 20 leagues.
In another significant move, DAZN has hired Alex Gersh, former CFO of Sportradar, to serve as its new CFO. Gersh is tasked with guiding DAZN’s financial strategy as the company looks to strengthen its operations and performance. He succeeds Darren Waterman, who transitions to a newly created chief business officer role, while former Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany takes on the COO position.
Finally, the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) has elected Fabio Macorin, Brazil's Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting, to its board of trustees. Macorin plays a pivotal role in shaping Brazil’s regulated betting market, which began in January 2025, focusing on combating illegal markets and enhancing consumer protection. IAGR President Ben Haden noted that Macorin’s insights will be valuable as global regulators work through similar challenges.
