International Game Technology (IGT) has officially named Adam Chibib as its new chief financial officer, effective November 1, 2026, pending regulatory approvals in the relevant states where IGT operates. Chibib will take over from Fabio Celadon, who has been with IGT and its predecessor companies for over twenty years. Celadon is scheduled to step down as CFO on October 31, but will continue in an advisory capacity until the end of December 2023.
Before joining IGT, Chibib served as president and CFO of Multimedia Games, a slot machine manufacturer based in Austin. This company was acquired by Global Cash Access in 2014 for around $1.2 billion. Global Cash Access has since rebranded as Everi and merged its gaming and online segments with IGT's in July 2022, facilitated by Apollo.
Hector Fernandez, CEO of IGT, expressed confidence in Chibib’s capabilities, stating, "Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need. His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution."
As CFO, Chibib will guide the finance division while IGT strives to integrate its various business units and operate efficiently as a private entity. Chibib himself is optimistic about the future, stating, "IGT has a strong portfolio. I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and our people to strengthen financial and operating discipline."
