Odds On Compliance has announced the appointment of two new directors, including Melissa Butler and Kaveh Ghanavati. Butler, who is stepping in after her retirement from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), played a significant role in establishing the state's sports betting regulatory framework in 2018. Her career began in 1987 with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission as an auditor, and by 1995, she was leading the revenue certification team. Butler also contributed to the development of auditing strategies for the launch of online gaming in 2013. Ghanavati most recently served as head of regulatory technology at Fubo Gaming, where he managed the company’s jurisdictional product compliance strategy and was involved in launching operations in several states, including Iowa, Arizona, and New Jersey. Fubo Gaming ceased its sports betting operations in October.
