In October, Nevada reported total gaming revenue of $822.7 million, showing a slight increase of 0.2% from September's $821.1 million. A significant portion of this revenue came from slot machines, generating $565.8 million, which reflects an 18.7% decline compared to the previous year and a 6.7% decrease from the previous month. Revenue from table games, including sports betting, fell by 19.5% to $256.8 million. Specific to sports betting, Nevada sportsbooks saw a 3.7% decrease in revenue, totaling $42.4 million, while the total stakes wagered reached a record high of $659.2 million. This figure is a 27.3% increase from the same time last year and up 14.6% from September 2020, surpassing the previous record of $614.1 million set in November of the previous year, based on a hold percentage of 6.43%. Mobile betting contributed $376.8 million in stakes and $13.6 million in revenue. Football emerged as the leading sport for wagering, generating $32.6 million from total bets of $441.1 million. In comparison, baseball attracted $110.7 million in bets, resulting in $5.2 million in revenue after payouts.
