Eilers & Krejcik has published its October Eilers-Fantini report, detailing the performance of North American online casinos, revealing that top-performing slots from IGT, Gamecode, and AGS have maintained their standings in the charts. IGT has reclaimed its position as the leading supplier in Canada, while Games Global has surged ahead of Evolution to enter the top three.
In the United States, IGT’s Cash Eruption slot has again proven to be a frontrunner, securing the top spot in the Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) charts for another month. Its GGR share increased from 2.7% to 2.88% after recovering some losses from the previous month. Evolution’s Live Dealer Roulette, which held second place last month, fell to fourth with a drop in GGR share from 1.57% to 1.18%. In contrast, Aristocrat’s Buffalo and IGT’s Blackjack took second and third place with GGR shares of 1.68% and 1.4%, respectively. Additionally, White Hat Studios’ 7s Fire Blitz surged into the top five with a 1.16% GGR share after not appearing in the top 25 last month.
Among the top games based on GGR, 16 were slot titles, while three were table games and six were from live casino categories. Notably, video poker games did not make the top 25 for just the second time this year. Cash Eruption continued its dominance at the top of the overall charts, while Triple Stones from Gamecode dropped from second to third place, displaced by IGT’s Blackjack, which rose from fourth. AGS’ Capital Gains moved up from sixth to fourth, and Live Dealer Lightning Roulette completed the top five after falling from third.
The new entries in the top ten include 7s Fire Blitz and Hyper Gold All In from Games Global, which took sixth and seventh place, respectively. This reshuffling saw Evolution’s Crazy Time drop from fifth to eighth, while Internal's Craps remained ninth, and Live Dealer Baccarat from Evolution rounded out the top ten after slipping from eighth.
In the slots charts, the top three positions remained unchanged with Cash Eruption, Triple Stones, and Capital Gains maintaining their ranks. The two newcomers to the top games list, 7s Fire Blitz and Hyper Gold All In, also made an impact in the slots ranking, taking fourth and fifth places.
A total of 12 suppliers featured in the top slots charts for the second consecutive month, with Light & Wonder, Evolution, Aristocrat, Reel Play, Everi, Inspired, and Greentube all having at least one title in the top 25. The latest new game rankings were led by Triple Stones, followed by 7s Fire Blitz and Hyper Gold All In in second and third place, while 3x Ultra Diamond from AGS held on to fourth.
Cash Machine Jackpots from Everi fell from fifth to eighth, while two new entries—Starlight Jackpots Athena Goddess of War from Greentube and Egglink Chicken Fox from Light & Wonder—claimed the ninth and tenth spots. As always, all games in the top 25 new games were slot releases.
Evolution continued to lead the supplier charts, increasing its GGR share to 18% from 17.9% in September. IGT and Light & Wonder maintained their positions with shares of 17.4% and around 13.4%, respectively. Conversely, Games Global’s share decreased from 8.4% to 7.4%, while White Hat's share increased slightly to 5.6% from 5.2%.
Slots dominated the total games tracked, accounting for 91.5%, followed by table games at 3.3%. Instant win games made up 2.2%, live casino accounted for 1.4%, while video poker, lottery, and bingo/keno were lower at 0.9%, 0.3%, and 0.3%, respectively. Mobile platforms generated the highest theoretical win at 72%, with desktop at 27% and tablets at 1%.
The Eilers-Fantini report on the US market spanned data from Michigan, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut across 28 online casino sites, analyzing 67,740 games which represent around 64% of the U.S. market.
For Canada, Eilers & Krejcik’s report highlights the performance of its online casino industry through nine online casino sites and tracks 17,557 games across five provinces. Cash Eruption emerged as Canada’s most-played game by GGR, retaining a 2.09% GGR share, significantly higher than Evolution’s Live Dealer Roulette, which climbed to second place at 0.84%. Cleopatra from IGT fell to third place at 0.82%, followed by Big City 5s at 0.67% and IGT’s Lucky Larry Lobstermania 2, also at 0.67%.
In the Canadian supplier charts, IGT reclaimed the lead with a 17.1% GGR share compared to Light & Wonder’s 15.42%. Games Global improved its position against Evolution, which fell to fourth place with 11.4% GGR, while Pragmatic Play maintained its fifth spot with a 10.27% share, down from 10.81%.
