BetConstruct has acquired a licence from the Gambling Commission, allowing the supplier to offer its complete range of eight virtual sports games to licensed operators through white label, turnkey, and API solutions. The virtual sports portfolio features titles such as Virtual Football Pro, Virtual Football League, Virtual Football Penalty Kicks, Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing, Virtual Bicycle, Marble Racing, and Virtual Drag Racing.
The company is actively seeking approvals for additional products. Its virtual offerings were first licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority in May 2020, together with its keno products.
In 2020, BetConstruct broadened its reach by forming several new partnerships, including a social and sports deal with the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and a strategic collaboration with R. Franco Digital in June. During this time, it also obtained a Swedish licence for its white-label arm, Vivaro.
In September, the company joined forces with French casino operator Barrière Group to launch a new online betting platform, BarrièreBet.
Recent figures from the Gambling Commission, released on October 14, showed a drop in gaming yield across all sectors in the UK for August 2020. Specifically, virtual sports revenue fell 16.1% from July, totaling £6.7 million, which marks a significant 47.9% decrease from its April high of £12.8 million.
