Bundesliga Partners with Polymarket for US Expansion

Polymarket, a prediction market platform, has entered into a partnership with the Bundesliga, the top German football league. This collaboration signifies the Bundesliga's first regional deal in the United States. Beginning in August of the 2026-2027 season, Polymarket users will be able to trade event contracts based on the outcomes of Bundesliga matches. This multi-year partnership will feature digital and social content centered on match predictions and markets, granting Polymarket exclusive rights to utilize Bundesliga and individual club intellectual property in a prediction market format. Robin Austermann, Executive Vice President of Bundesliga Americas, stated that partnerships like this reflect their ongoing efforts, alongside Relevent, to promote German soccer in the region and highlight 'Football As It’s Meant to Be' in the Americas. Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket, remarked that the Bundesliga showcases some of the most thrilling talent in world football and that the league's U.S. audience mirrors that excitement. He noted that this official partnership enables Polymarket to engage that audience with the league's credibility. Polymarket has quickly become a favored prediction market partner for major sports leagues and holds official partnerships with Spain's LaLiga, Italy's Serie A, and other organizations including MLB, NHL, UFC, and MLS.
