Greek betting company Novibet signed a sponsorship deal with Brazilian soccer club Fortaleza Esporte Clube.
The deal stipulates that GameTech’s business will be exposed in three locations, namely the front and sleeves of the team shirt as well as the shorts. In addition to the digital delivery of the betting site on social media, the two-year deal will see the branding of the website promoted in Fortaleza’s Castelao home stadium.
In a press release, Club President Marcelo Paz called the operator an “attractive brand” and praised the deal.
Paz said: “We’re happy about this sponsorship, as it will directly help us in our daily activities, club expenses, and on the field.” We will continue to do what we do for all our sponsors, which is to provide the highest possible return on investment to anyone who purchases our shirt.
Novibet has set Brazil as its second target for expansion in LatAm. This follows the launch of Novibet in Mexico in 2022, made possible by a partnership between Big Bola Casinos and a land-based operator.
Also, the operator made progress with its North America plan, having secured market access in New Jersey and submitting an application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
In a press release, Novibet President Rodolfo Odoni emphasized the long-standing history of the club and said that Novibet was “very happy” to sponsor the Fotaleza.
He added, “We’re excited to begin our operations in Brazil and to have the chance to become part of Brazil’s sports culture through our unique and innovative gaming experiences.” Through this and future partnerships, we hope to be one of the biggest supporters of Brazilian soccer in the world.
