Michael unveils Greentube’s newest platform, Mynt. This has been certified in South Africa. Greentube, a B2B leader in the industry, has seen significant growth over the past few years. This interview will take you back in time to explore Greentube’s journey.

TheGamblest:

Greentube is currently one of the fast-moving companies in iGaming, Michael, can you provide the recent achievements of the company in the market and shed light on the company’s current position within the industry?

Michael : The industry’s meta-trend, namely the ongoing regulation of online gaming markets is creating an overall positive environment for our business. Our business is based on the regulated market and recent events in Brazil, Peru and South Africa have benefited our model. We have built up a strong position among suppliers who focus on regulated market over the past few years. These achievements don’t happen over night. These achievements are a result of our strategy over the long term to create an organization capable of creating the best products, and knowing the various markets very well. So big kudos from me to all our staff.

TheGamblest: Furthermore, could you share your vision for Greentube’s trajectory in 2024?

Michael : The year 2024 is going to be defined by two themes: the expansion of our market and the rollout of our technology stack. We have also invested in a number of new initiatives, such as the ilottery and more traditional online casinos that will be launched this year.

TheGamblest: How is Greentube strategizing its expansion into the North American market, particularly in terms of developing locally-oriented content?

Mike: In terms of market, we are planning to go live with Pennsylvania and Connecticut during the first half year. We are focusing on these two markets to enhance our partnerships with existing customers. We continue to add new clients in the US and have launched Penn National and Caesars brands this year. We also have a strong partnership with lotteries from BC, Quebec and Ontario in Canada. In terms of games, we’ve had a number of great releases this year. Piggy Prices Wand Of Riches was the most successful. As I look ahead to this coming year, I am confident that we will be able to provide our players with some great games. Our games are also constantly improving our rankings in game statistics – this is a testament to their quality. We will be showcasing our latest games at G2E later in the year in Vegas.

TheGamblest: We also know that the company has a big focus on Latin America. What specific strategies is Greentube employing to penetrate and capitalize on the burgeoning Latin American market, with a particular emphasis on Peru and Brazil?

Michael : Latam, with a focus on two of the markets you have mentioned is another area that has a lot of potential. We are focusing on getting our feet on the ground, and utilizing local sales and account management in order to better meet the needs of customers. In terms of games, we’re in a good position in Peru because our parent company Novomatic is active on the market. We are also investing in other areas, such as crash games. We hope to be able bring competitive products to the market very soon.

TheGamblest: Michael, Greentube has recently launched a new platform – Mynt, currently certified in South Africa. Can you briefly introduce the platform to our readers and share your plans concerning the new launch.

Michael : In addition to the massive expansion of our global business, we have developed the Mynt Platform over these last few years. It has taken longer than expected to complete, but we now have a platform for game delivery that’s state-of-the art in terms of technology and architecture. We understand that “Mynt”, is more than just an RGS, but also a suite of modules which allows us to develop and deliver complete games. It includes SDKs for our studios and tools for certification and QA, as well as an onboarding platform for operators. By launching in South Africa, we can build up volume faster and make the platform more appealing to studio partners. Mynt will likely serve any new markets in the future, such as Brazil. We will slowly, but surely migrate existing markets to the new platform. The operators will gain from the platform not just from an expanded range of games, but also through additional features for gamification that we have built into Mynt.

TheGamblest: How does Greentube leverage the advanced technologies of the Mynt platform to ensure high performance, scalability, and adaptability in response to the ever-evolving gaming industry landscape?

Michael The Mynt platform can be used on any cloud service provider meeting our requirements. We can quickly scale resources for our platform nodes. Mynt’s central hub allows it to control all platform nodes, which means that the operational work related to managing games and operators does not have duplicated effort with each new node. It is resistant to data disruptions between the different nodes. In addition, it has been designed as a services-oriented infrastructure. This allows us to adapt quickly to changes in market demands and to faster times to market.

TheGamblest: How does the launch of the new platform, Mynt, signify a significant step forward in supporting operators and suppliers within a comprehensive game ecosystem? Could you elaborate on the specific tools and features offered by Mynt that cater to the diverse needs of operators and suppliers?

Michael Mynt is a powerful tool for operators that simplifies integration through step-bystep guides, live logs, and automated self checks. The operators can create as many staging configurations to suit their own internal development environment. Operators can benefit from an advanced back-office that allows them to manage campaigns and self-service configuration of games. The majority of the functions available to operators in Mynt’s back office are also accessible via APIs, so that they can integrate them into their internal tools.

Mynt provides a modular SDK for suppliers that allows games to be created faster through component reuse. Mynt’s tool makes it easy to test games, and requires little manual configuration. The tool allows suppliers to input meta-data about games (such as math for the game) into it directly, reducing dependency on the internal teams. Finaly, some elements such as game rules and compliance information have been separated from the game client, reducing both development and operation complexity.

TheGamblest: To sum up our interview, we are more than sure our audience will be happy to know how you spend your spare time, maybe you like mountaineering? 🙂

Michael : I’m a father first and foremost, but I also love the mountains as I’m Austrian. In the summer I like to ride my mountain bike and in winter, skis.
