Belatra, a prominent name in the field of online slot development, has introduced its latest game, Brother CrossBolt. This gothic-themed adventure plunges players into a chilling nighttime quest where they hunt for vampires. The storyline centers on a determined hunter who wields a mysterious medallion. As he reaches his limit, the medallion unlocks his inner werewolf, prompting him to venture into the fog to seek out the immortals that hide within it.
The gameplay revolves around a unique cascading mechanic, allowing winning symbols to disappear and new ones to drop in their places. Players can encounter oversized 2×2 and 3×3 symbols at any moment, which act as clusters of matching icons. When these larger symbols contribute to a win, they explode, clearing the way for new symbols to fill the gaps.
Integral to the experience are the Silver and Golden Revolvers situated at the heart of the game. When these weapons appear, their chambers rotate to unveil hidden multipliers ranging from x2 to x100. These multipliers accumulate into a Global Multiplier, which increases with each cascading win. A longer winning streak results in greater payouts. Should a spin yield no wins, players might be aided by Hero Boosters.
The Bomb booster eliminates adjacent non-paying symbols, triggering a new cascade, while the Change booster upgrades lower-value symbols to higher-value ones. Successfully landing four Scatter symbols activates the Free Games feature, where the Global Multiplier persists from spin to spin without resetting. During this feature, players may glimpse a rare Red revolver, which is loaded with six x100 multipliers. This moment can charge the Golden Revolver’s chambers, elevating the Global Multiplier as the round approaches its peak.
For a heightened challenge, the Hot Mode elevates gameplay with a superior starting multiplier, more vibrant symbol interactions, and increased frequency of boosters, paving the way for the maximum possible win of 25,000x. Additionally, players eager for immediate action can take advantage of the Buy Bonus feature, granting instant access to standard Free Games, the Hot Mode, or guaranteed revolver waves. The Bet +25% option enhances the likelihood of landing Scatter symbols during the base game.
Misha Voinich, Head of Business Development at Belatra, remarked, "Brother CrossBolt is one of the darkest worlds we’ve built so far, and the soundscape pulls players into the action. Underneath all that gothic atmosphere sits a revolver-powered multiplier system that grows with every cascade. With Giant Symbols, Hero Boosters, and the Red Revolver adding further excitement, players can look forward to a thrilling experience packed with twists, surprises, and opportunities for big wins."
