Cubeia, a Swedish iGaming software provider, has introduced Roulette, marking the addition of its first classic table game within the Cubeia Originals lineup, which has primarily featured instant-win games. As with other Originals titles, Roulette showcases the operator’s branding instead of that of the supplier and is designed as a native web component, avoiding the use of iframes.
Following European single-zero rules, Roulette offers a complete array of inside and outside betting options, allowing players to place wagers and observe the results on the spinning wheel in real time through the operator's interface. Operators have the flexibility to customize the game’s theme, currency, return to player (RTP), and missions, integrating it seamlessly into their sites with a single tag.
The technical design of the Originals sets them apart from third-party offerings. Games are delivered as web components rather than iframes, enabling them to load up to five times faster while fully adopting the operator’s branding without visual inconsistencies. The Roulette Wheel is designed to load in under 500 milliseconds. Additionally, Cubeia provides a React and Next.js package alongside standard web components to facilitate integration into any front-end system.
Caroline Björkman, Cubeia's Head of Sales, emphasized that operators using a uniform third-party game grid inadvertently cultivate player loyalty towards the content provider rather than their own brand. "Roulette is a staple game for casinos, and it should carry your name, not ours. By adding a classic table game to the Originals portfolio, operators no longer have to compromise between offering exclusive content and maintaining popular titles that players expect," she stated.
Tobias Fogelberg, Cubeia’s Chief Commercial Officer, remarked on the challenges of replicating the distinct feel of Roulette. He noted, "The spin, the bet layout, and the resolution all had to feel authentic in the browser, without an iframe disrupting the experience. This required substantial engineering effort to achieve, with the final result loading in under half a second and acting as a true part of the operator’s offering."
Roulette is now accessible to all Cubeia Originals operators, joining a diverse catalogue that includes titles such as Mines, Plinko, Dice, Limbo, Wheel, Keno, Coinflip, HiLo, Crash, Turbocrash, and Tower. An upcoming Chicken Cross game is in beta testing, while Multiplayer Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Snakes are currently in development.
