The Ukrainian iGaming regulator, PlayCity, has imposed a penalty of approximately UAH4.75 million on Slots U.A. LLC, the operator behind the BetKing and 777.ua brands, due to non-compliance with regulatory rules. According to a post on the regulator's official Telegram channel, the company allowed unauthorized third parties to transfer funds into player accounts, which was a major factor in the hefty fine.
Of the total penalty, UAH4.32 million was specifically for breaching payment regulations. Furthermore, the company is also being fined UAH432,350 for failing to comply with a previous order issued by PlayCity.
This marks the second time Slots U.A. has faced fines, having previously been penalized $10,000 in May for not providing requested information to the government in a timely manner.
The enforcement actions are part of PlayCity's increased scrutiny of the industry, illustrated by its recent report on violations of gambling advertising regulations. The authority took action a few days ago against UAF Marketing LLC, which was fined nearly UAH5.2 million for promoting an online casino during the 2026/27 Ukrainian Cup football season, breaching established advertising rules.
