PlayCity Fines BetKing UAH4.75M for Compliance Breaches

The Ukrainian iGaming regulator, PlayCity, has levied a fine of approximately UAH4.75 million against Slots U.A. LLC, the company operating the BetKing and 777.ua brands, due to noncompliance with existing regulations. The regulator disclosed via its official Telegram channel that the company's operations had allowed unauthorized third parties to transfer funds into player accounts, which constituted a major violation contributing to the substantial penalty.

Of the total fine, UAH4.32 million was specifically for breaching payment rules. Additionally, the regulatory body imposed a UAH432,350 fine for the company’s failure to adhere to a previous directive.

This marks the second instance of fines against Slots U.A. LLC; the company was previously fined $10,000 in May of this year for not providing requested information to government authorities in a timely manner.

PlayCity's enforcement actions appear to be intensifying. Recently, the regulator also addressed another violation related to gambling advertising. UAF Marketing LLC was fined nearly UAH5.2 million for infringements found in its advertising materials during the 2026/27 Ukrainian Cup football season.
