Hacksaw AB has announced an expected revenue range of €57.5 million to €58.5 million for the third quarter of 2026. This forecast reflects ongoing challenges within the market and an overall decline in game performance, leading to a decrease in year-on-year revenues estimated at 11% to 12%.
In a press release issued on October 12, Hacksaw revealed its anticipated quarterly results for the period ending September 30. The projected revenue of €57.5 million to €58.5 million represents a significant increase from the €52 million recorded in the same quarter last year.
The company estimates its adjusted EBITDA will fall between €48 million and €49 million, indicating a profit margin of roughly 83%. Management attributed these financial outcomes to a continuing weakening of the gaming sector.
Hacksaw's stock saw a notable decline, dropping by 29.3% by noon CEST on October 12, resulting in a reduction in market capitalization of SEK 6.9 billion.
CEO Ana Vrabic Verdir emphasized the company’s potential for growth, citing opportunities in acquiring new customers and expanding the business. Hacksaw is scheduled to release its detailed financial report for Q3 at 7:30 a.m. CET on November 3. Despite the lowered expectations, the company has managed to achieve annual revenue growth exceeding 30% and an adjusted EBIT above 80%.
