Hacksaw AB has forecasted its revenue for the third quarter of 2026 to be between €57.5 million and €58.5 million. This projection comes amid ongoing market difficulties and a decline in game performance, which is expected to lead to an overall yearly revenue decrease of 11% to 12%.
In a press release issued on October 12, the company provided its preliminary results for the quarter ending September 30. The anticipated revenue reflects an increase from last year’s figure of €52 million. Furthermore, Hacksaw expects an adjusted EBITDA of approximately €48 million to €49 million, which translates to a profit margin of about 83%. The decline in performance has been attributed to a continuing slump in the gaming market.
As of noon CEST on October 12, Hacksaw's stock price fell by 29.3%, resulting in a reduction of the company's market capitalization by SEK 6.9 billion. CEO Ana Vrabic Verdir highlighted that the company still sees substantial growth potential, especially with plans to acquire new customers and expand operations.
Hacksaw is set to release its detailed financial report for Q3 at 7:30 a.m. CET on November 3. Despite the drop in expectations, the company has managed to meet its goal of achieving annual revenue growth above 30% and an adjusted EBIT over 80%.
