iGaming AFRIKA Summit 2027 Returns to Nairobi

iGA Events has confirmed that the iGaming AFRIKA Summit will return to Nairobi, Kenya, from May 4 to 6, 2027. This year's event will be held at the Sarit Expo Centre, following the inaugural summit in 2026, which attracted over 3,300 delegates from more than 100 countries. The 2026 summit featured over 100 speakers across two stages and showcased exciting exhibitions, connecting operators, regulators, investors, and technology providers from across Africa and beyond.

Jeremiah Maangi, CEO of iGaming AFRIKA, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming summit, stating, "We are coming back bigger and stronger than ever before. Building on the tremendous success of our past edition, we are committed to organizing the best gaming event in Africa, not just in terms of size, but in quality and impact. Our goal is to set a new standard for excellence in the industry, bringing together top minds, innovations, and opportunities the continent has to offer."

The focus for 2027 will be on fostering sustainable growth within the African gaming industry, in line with global trends in areas such as regulation, technology, advertising, marketing, payments, cryptocurrencies, responsible gaming, community enhancement, and esports. Insights from the global development of the gaming industry will inform discussions and strategies at the summit.

Maangi further highlighted Africa’s evolving role in the gaming sector: "Africa is no longer an emerging gaming market; it is one of the industry’s fastest-growing frontiers. iGA Summit exists to connect the people, ideas, and investments that will shape the next chapter of that growth, and we’re excited to welcome an even broader international audience in 2027."

The 2027 edition will widen its global reach to include a diverse mix of C-suite executives, regulators, investors, and technology providers, with plans to host attendees from over 120 countries. Organizers have expanded the exhibition space to accommodate an increasing number of exhibitors.

According to the iGA Summit Organizing Committee, insights and feedback from the last event have played a crucial role in planning the 2027 summit. The committee remarked,

"iGA Summit has always been built by the industry, for the industry. The feedback we received from our inaugural edition has become the foundation of our planning for 2027. By listening to our community and acting on their recommendations, we are confident that the next edition will deliver an even richer experience and create greater value for all stakeholders across Africa's gaming ecosystem."

This announcement underscores the ongoing growth of Africa's gaming industry and reinforces its status as a hub for gaming innovation, investment, and regulatory discussions. Registration of interest for the iGA Summit 2027 is now open, and interested parties can visit the official summit website for the latest updates on the event.
