Allwyn reported a significant boost in its financial performance for the second quarter of 2026, with net revenue reaching €1.2 billion. This marks a 27% increase compared to the same quarter last year, largely attributed to the company's acquisition of PrizePicks and steady growth in its European markets.
The company's adjusted EBITDA for the period was €458 million, indicating a 29% increase and achieving a 37% margin. When excluding PrizePicks and considering higher gaming taxes in Austria, the underlying revenue growth rate stood at 5%.
According to Allwyn, advancements in digital services and strong operational performance in sports betting and iGaming, along with contributions from PrizePicks, were essential in driving these results.
Robert Chvátal, Allwyn's CEO, expressed satisfaction with the company's performance, stating, "After a very positive Q1, I’m pleased to announce further strong performance in the second quarter, with group net revenue increasing by 27% year-on-year, to €1.2bn, and adjusted EBITDA increasing by 29%, to €458m. This reflects the strength of our strategy and our success in executing it, as demonstrated by sustained momentum in continental Europe and the contribution from PrizePicks."
The upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026 and improved profits in the UK following a technical overhaul of The National Lottery also contributed to the growth in sports betting activities.
PrizePicks, which was established in 2023, continues to expand its operations in North America, integrating PlayerPicks and TeamPick, alongside launching prediction markets and fantasy sports options.
Furthermore, Allwyn has unveiled new lottery games in Austria, the Czech Republic, and the UK, making history as the first operator outside the USA to offer Powerball tickets.
