Gambling.com Group has officially changed its name to Grandstand Limited, marking its evolution from a gambling affiliate to a wider sports, media, and technology entity. This rebranding took effect on July 23, coinciding with the new stock exchange ticker GRSD.
Kevin McCrystle, the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, remarked on the significance of the new name, stating, "The new name reflects who we are today after an already significant evolution of our business. Grandstand better describes our position as the intelligence layer powering informed decisions for consumers and partners across sports, gaming and entertainment. There have never been more interesting opportunities in front of us, and we are excited for what's ahead."
This shift highlights the company’s growth since it went public in 2021. Notably, the Gambling.com website will continue to function as usual under the new corporate identity. Over the years, the firm has diversified its operations through numerous acquisitions and product developments, currently managing several consumer brands, including Gambling.com, Casinos.com, WhichBingo, OddsJam, and RotoWire.
The rebranding clarifies the difference between the parent company and one of its most recognized brands, as Grandstand now serves as the overarching identity for a business that the management emphasizes has expanded beyond just gambling affiliate marketing.
