Scout Gaming has partnered with Razer to develop and host a mobile app that enables Razer users to participate in fantasy esports tournaments. Razer provides hardware, software, and services to gamers, boasting a platform that caters to over 125 million users. Their offerings include Razer Synapse, an Internet of Things platform; Razer Chroma RGB, a lighting technology system; and Razer Cortex, a game optimization and launcher tool. They also provide payment services such as Razer Gold and fintech solutions in emerging markets. The new platform targeting Razer's user communities will operate under a brand that has yet to be revealed, utilizing Scout Gaming's proprietary technology. According to Scout, while the immediate revenue impact of this partnership is expected to be minimal, it holds potential for substantial long-term growth. In related news, Scout reported a 54.0% increase in revenue year-on-year for the first quarter of 2021, driven by new customer launches and larger prize pools. Their revenue for the quarter ending March 31 was SEK13.4 million (£1.1 million/€1.3 million/$1.6 million), attributed largely to newly secured partnerships with operators such as ATG in Sweden and Norsk Tipping in Norway.
