PAGCOR Approves Online Gaming for Okada Manila

PAGCOR has granted approval to Tiger Resort's application, allowing the operator to launch online table and machine gaming. This decision followed a board meeting and is contingent on the payment of license fees, adherence to casino regulations, compliance with anti-money laundering laws, and successful test simulations. With this approval, Okada Manilla will be the first of the four integrated resort operators in 'Entertainment City' to introduce an online gaming product. Universal Entertainment Corporation, which owns both Okada and Tiger Resorts, announced the news. Jun Fujimoto, the representative director and president of Universal Entertainment, expressed the company’s intention to expand into online sports betting in the future. 'The company considers this online gaming as the first step, and will continue to develop online sports betting gaming using its proprietary technology,' he stated.
