Kindred has entered into a six-year agreement with the Swinomish Tribe to launch a co-branded Unibet and Swinomish retail sportsbook at the tribe's casino in Washington. The agreement includes a five-year option for extension. Currently, online betting is illegal in Washington, aside from mobile wagering that takes place on casino premises. This launch depends on obtaining the necessary licenses and regulatory approvals and would make Washington the seventh U.S. state where Unibet provides sports betting services. Manuel Stan, Kindred's senior vice president for North America, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, 'We are very excited to expand our footprint in the US, and to do so together with the Swinomish tribe.' He added that the new sportsbook lounge at Swinomish Casino and Lodge would deliver top-tier sports betting experiences. Kindred also emphasized its commitment to extending its U.S. operations in markets that ensure a sustainable business model. Many non-leading brands in the U.S. have encountered challenges; for instance, FuboTV recently shut down its sportsbook. In addition to its operations in Washington, Unibet is present in Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and also in Ontario, Canada.
