Inspired has officially signed a contract with Sisal Şans, a collaboration between Italy’s Sisal and Şans Digital, a unit of Dermirören Holding. This partnership won a ten-year contract in August 2022 to manage Turkey’s national lottery, Milli Piyango, on behalf of the Turkish Wealth Fund Management.
As part of this agreement, the games will be introduced on Misili, a licensed sports betting brand managed by Spor Toto Teşkilat Başkanlığı. Inspired will utilize its V-Play Plug & Play platform, a comprehensive online and mobile virtual sportsbook solution that is already in use by companies like DraftKings and social operator Chumba Casino’s FendOff Sports.
Brooks Pierce, president and chief operating officer of Inspired, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, “We have worked with Sisal for many years in Italy, supplying our video lottery terminals, virtuals, and mobile products. We are thrilled to partner with their Turkish joint venture, Sisal Sans, to offer our virtuals products in Turkey. Our virtuals have proven popular in the UK, Italy, and Greece and we see Turkey as an opportunity to showcase our new Plug & Play solution and the strength of our overall Virtuals offerings.”
Sisal Şans’s chief executive, Selim Ergun, emphasized the venture's goal of maximizing lottery revenue through innovative products. He stated, “Inspired’s virtual sports speak to that innovation, offering fast-paced action, ultra-realistic player simulations, and a tremendous breadth of bet types. We are excited to be the first certified website to offer virtuals in Turkey. We are looking forward to working with the Inspired team to bring a continual stream of betting content to our customer base, especially given the limited live sports now available.”
This deal comes on the heels of Misili’s recent agreement with IMG Arena, announced on October 13, which allows for the integration of streaming across multiple sports, enabling customers to watch live action after placing their bets.
