Tristan Durrell Becomes Fairplay Brand Ambassador for Jumps Season

Tristan Durrell has officially joined Fairplay as a brand ambassador for the upcoming 2026/27 Jumps season. Last season, Durrell achieved a personal milestone by riding 48 winners, including his first Grade 1 victory, which earned him the title of Champion Conditional rider. He is poised for even more success alongside the accomplished Dan Skelton team.

Throughout the season, Durrell will keep fans updated on his rides and highlight key horses from the Skelton stable through blogs and video content.

"It’s great to be part of the Fairplay team. We’ve been very busy with runners and have plenty of horses in the yard, so it’s an exciting season ahead," Durrell remarked. "I’ve been coming into Dan’s [Skelton] for a long time now, so working around him and Harry [Skelton] has a positive influence. Last season was a significant breakthrough for me. I aimed to lose my claim, which I had achieved by Christmas. Then, I focused on winning the Champion Conditional title, and now I’m looking forward again.

Dan has expressed his goal of reaching 244 winners this season to surpass Martin Pipe’s record, and he’s determined to break every record possible. I, along with the entire yard, will commit to helping him achieve that. The yard is known for earning substantial prize money, but our focus is on the Cheltenham Festival—the premier event. Even though Willie Mullins usually wins more than any British stable, we are making strides towards assembling a more competitive team. A key objective for us is to secure more winners at the Festival. Each year, Dan is closing the gap with Willie in terms of horse quality.

Bill Gowing, Fairplay's Founder and Managing Director, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Durrell to their team, stating, "We’re absolutely delighted to have last season’s Champion Conditional Jockey representing our brand. It’s a fantastic signing for us, and we’re incredibly excited about it. Partnering with talented individuals like Tristan is essential as we continue to grow our presence within British racing. We look forward to supporting him throughout the season and hope to celebrate many winners together.

Tristan Durrell is the latest addition to Fairplay’s growing roster of ambassadors, which already includes Warren Greatrex and Mickey Bowen. Fairplay launched initially as a social peer-to-peer betting platform in 2023, followed by the debut of the Fairplay Bet sportsbook after receiving a sportsbook license. The company also made its mark at racing events, including its first pitch at Glorious Goodwood this year, and will have stands at Cheltenham from November 13-15 and Newbury on November 27-28, in addition to December 10 and 29.
