Tristan Durrell Joins Fairplay as Brand Ambassador for Jumps Season

Tristan Durrell has officially joined Fairplay as a brand ambassador for the upcoming 2026/27 Jumps season. Last season, Durrell achieved a personal milestone by riding 48 winners, which included his first Grade 1 victory, earning him the title of Champion Conditional rider. He is now part of the successful Dan Skelton team, where further achievements are anticipated.

Throughout the season, Durrell will share regular updates regarding his rides and notable horses in the Skelton yard through blogs and video content. Expressing his enthusiasm, Durrell stated, "It’s great to be part of the Fairplay team. We’ve been very busy with runners and have plenty of horses in the yard, so it’s an exciting season ahead. I’ve been coming into Dan’s [Skelton] for a long time now, so working around him and Harry [Skelton] does rub off on you. Last season was a big breakthrough for me. I wanted to lose my claim and had already achieved that by Christmas. Then it was about winning Champion Conditional, so now it’s about looking ahead again. Dan has been vocal about wanting to reach 244 winners for the season and beat Martin Pipe’s record. He wants to beat every single record there is, so I, along with the whole yard, will help him achieve that. For the yard as a whole, we’re known for winning good amounts of prize money, but the Cheltenham Festival is the big one. Willie Mullins comes over and still wins a lot more than any British yard. We’re definitely getting to the point where we’re bringing better teams and becoming much more competitive. I think a big thing for the yard is to secure a greater number of Festival winners. Every single year, Dan is getting closer to Willie with the quality of horses."

Bill Gowing, the Founder and Managing Director of Fairplay, expressed his excitement about Durrell's addition to the team: "We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Tristan to the Fairplay team. To have last season’s Champion Conditional Jockey representing our brand is a fantastic signing for us and one we’re incredibly excited about. As we continue to grow our presence within British racing, partnering with talented individuals like Tristan is a really important part of that journey. We’re looking forward to supporting him throughout the season and hopefully celebrating plenty of winners together."

With Durrell's signing, Fairplay's roster of ambassadors continues to expand, joining the likes of Warren Greatrex and Mickey Bowen.

Established in 2023, Fairplay began as a social peer-to-peer betting platform, subsequently launching Fairplay Bet after securing a sportsbook license. The brand has also made its mark at racecourses, having set up a pitch at Glorious Goodwood earlier this year, and is scheduled for events at Cheltenham from November 13-15 and Newbury on November 27-28, as well as on December 10 and 29.
