PG Soft Appoints Hugo Baungartner as General Manager for LatAm

PG Soft has announced the appointment of Hugo Baungartner as General Manager for Latin America, marking a strategic move to enhance its operations in the region. In this role, Baungartner will focus on expanding PG Soft’s commercial footprint, especially in Brazil, where the company has already secured a notable market position.

Brazil’s gaming sector is poised for significant growth and currently stands at a crucial juncture regarding regulations, particularly with upcoming elections. Baungartner brings over 29 years of experience in technology and gaming, having previously held key positions at companies like Grupo Aposta Ganha, RCT Gaming, Prohards, and most recently, Esportes Gaming Brasil.

His extensive experience has enabled him to develop a broad network within Latin America’s regulatory framework, establishing vital connections with regulators and industry stakeholders, including Brazil's Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA/MF), the Federal Revenue Service, COAF, as well as Mexico’s gaming authorities.

Reflecting on his new role, Baungartner stated, "PG Soft's brand needs no introduction in Latin America, thanks to its extensive portfolio of world-class, mobile-first games that resonate strongly with players. The company is only just getting started in the region, and I look forward to building on its success in Brazil while expanding PG Soft's presence across regulated markets throughout Latin America."

PG Soft's commitment to Latin America is further emphasized through its sponsorship of prominent regional events, including the earlier sponsorship of BiS SiGMA South America in São Paulo, underscoring its long-term dedication to the Brazilian market and the broader Latin American region.
