In Washington DC, sports bets in September totaled $14.5m. This is down by 25.3% compared to the $19.4m staked last year. This total is 79.0% higher than the $8.1m wagered in Washington DC last August.
Gross gaming revenues reached $1.9m. The revenue was down 47.2% from August last year, but still 90.0% higher than the total for 2023.
Caesars wins over Gambet at Washington DC
Caesars, which had led the Washington DC market in August of this year, has maintained its position at the top. Sports bets of $5.3 million generated $867,672 for the operator.
Gambet powered by Intralot and run by DC Lottery was once again second, with $588.203 from $5.2m of wagers.
BetMGM came in second with $285.127 and $2.7m. Flutter Entertainment FanDuel was next with $128,831 on a $556,671 total.
Grand Central, along with partner Elys Game Technology, reported revenue of $98.930 on a handle of $713.916. Cloakbook reported a $34,501 loss from bets of $55,792.
