iGB Live! Attendance record for 2022 is broken

iGB Live has set a new attendance record. The Amsterdam RAI has welcomed a record number of 5,022 professionals from the industry in 2022.

This is a 7% increase on the best ever of 4,694 in 2019, and a 31 % improvement on 2021 when iGB Live was launched! The first in-person event following Covid-19 was iGB Live!

Portfolio director Naomi Barton reflected on the show: “Of Course, it is not only about numbers. The real measure of the success of the event will be evident in the research we do with visitors and exhibitors after the event and the net promoter score that represents the willingness of the attendees to recommend this event to their networks.

It’s evident that we have reached a whole new group of people with our marketing efforts and communication. 32% attended iGB Live! “12% of attendees were new gaming companies and 8% represented startup businesses. 26% are based in the US.”

Breaking the iGB Live! experience into its component parts, she said: “Our strategy of delivering a show floor that represents the entire gaming eco-system and is underpinned by opportunities to network with the industry and generate leads along with a content-rich programme of business centric learning features relevant show features has proven successful.” She said that the iGB Live! experience was a success. “Our approach of providing a showfloor which represents the whole gaming ecosystem and is supported by networking opportunities and lead generation, along with a rich programme of content-rich learning and relevant features has proven successful.”

The event featured 190 exhibitors and sponsors occupying 4,500 square meters, including feature areas dedicated online slots and esports, as well as a conference program with 46 speakers and two masterclasses.
